That's what young Freddy Cory thought when he checked himself into rehab at the height of his career as a California, home-grown virtuoso guitarist, a cross between Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn.

He had reached the musical peak of his powers, when he suddenly hung up his guitar and never looked back. Then after what seemed like an eternity and a lot of coaxing from his loyal fans, he was now finally ready to face the music.

In collaboration with Rob Rappaport, this is the first part in a collection of songs celebrating one man's victory in the primal struggle between demons, danger and destiny.

This is the first release in a series of expression that represents the opening of doors and windows into the heart. Listen to his songs of love, hope and courage. This is the music that brought him back to life and enabled him to dedicate himself to the art of songwriting.

THE MUSIC ALMOST KILLED HIM.

Music has power.
